How to use this tool

Read currently available device storage, then list only files you still need to add. For an installed game, its existing files are already reflected in free space. Add a reserve for uncertainty.

How the calculation works

Planned game storage = sum of each game's size + (average update size × expected updates). Required space = planned game storage + your extra reserve. Remaining space = entered free device space − required space.

Example

Game A needs 3.2 + (0.4 × 4) = 4.8 GB. Game B needs 1.8 + (0.2 × 3) = 2.4 GB. Together they need 7.2 GB; reserving another 2 GB makes 9.2 GB. With 12 GB free before installation, the plan leaves 2.8 GB.

Read the result without overestimating it

A positive remainder describes your assumptions, not an installation guarantee. Update systems may temporarily unpack files, and a downloaded patch can replace existing content instead of permanently adding its full size.
