Use gross purchase revenue before the fee you enter. If your report is already net of store fees, do not subtract that fee again. Put only additional costs in the other-cost field.
How the calculation works
Net IAP revenue = gross revenue × (1 − platform fee %) − other costs
Example
With $2,000 gross revenue, a 30% platform fee, and $100 in other costs, estimated net revenue is $1,300.
Read the result without overestimating it
This tool isolates the purchase revenue stream. Combine it with separately measured ad income and the remaining project costs before deciding whether the whole game is profitable.
Why this result matters
Gross purchase revenue is not the same as the amount retained by a developer. Store fees, refunds, taxes, and operating costs can reduce the final amount.
